Instructional Coach - Early Career Teachers
Damascus College continues to experience strong growth and development as we plan for an exciting year ahead in 2026. We are currently inviting Expressions of Interest for the 2026–2028 Positions of Leadership (POL) cycle. The Instructional Coach – Early Career Teachers plays a vital role in building the capability and confidence of graduate and early-career teachers. Working alongside the broader instructional coaching team, teachers, and leaders, this role supports the development of high-quality classroom practice and helps foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Successful applicants will demonstrate the following:
- Capacity to lead and nurture the Catholic identity and ethos of the school, and a commitment to ongoing professional formation as a Catholic leader.
- Ability to articulate and implement a shared vision that aligns with our Mercy values and the ethos of the school.
- Ability to build strong and effective relationships with parents, students, colleagues and the broader community.
- Proven capacity to lead, support, and engage staff in a collaborative manner.
- Demonstrated capacity to lead and manage change effectively in a dynamic educational environment.
- Forward-thinking approach to innovation, including the integration of emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence in ways that enhance teaching, learning, and administration.
