Damascus College is seeking an experienced and energetic Leader of Rowing & Head Coach to drive the continued success and development of our Rowing Program. This is a unique opportunity to shape a thriving co-curricular program, mentor student-athletes and coaches, and foster a culture of excellence, teamwork and wellbeing.
The Leader of Rowing & Head Coach provides strategic leadership, operational coordination and hands-on coaching across the Damascus College Rowing Program.
With approximately 65 students across Junior, Intermediate and Senior squads, the program is well-established and poised for growth. This role is central to expanding participation, strengthening performance pathways and building a strong, connected rowing community.
You will:
Work hours and scheduling for this position will be developed in consultation with the Assistant Principal – Student Wellbeing and will vary across terms to align with the operational requirements and seasonal demands of the College’s rowing program.
The role includes early morning and after-school training sessions, as well as attendance at regattas, camps, and weekend events as required.
Outside of the rowing season, there will be opportunities to contribute to other aspects of College life.
