About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic teacher for a teaching role, for the Learning Areas of Visual Arts and the ability to teach Performing Arts - Drama and or/ other learning areas. This 0.8 FTE, ongoing position will begin Week 1, Term 1, 2026 (potential for Full Time depending on teaching methods). Secondary or Primary teachers, Graduates and/or Permission to Teach interns are most welcome and encouraged to apply. This role teaches across both campuses - Noorat and Camperdown.

A relocation allowance is available for a successful applicant living at least 120 kilometres from the Mercy Regional College administration campus in Camperdown.
Key Selection Criteria
Understanding and Commitment to Catholic Identity and Mission;
Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration (or be eligible for registration);
A current or be willing to obtain an Accreditation to teach Religious Education Certificate;
Demonstrated high- level knowledge of Victorian Curriculum and the AITSL standards with best practice, evidence-based approaches to teaching and learning;
Evidence of effective strategies for fostering a safe, inclusive and positive classroom environment;
Experience collaborating effectively with colleagues in planning, instruction, and assessment.
Confident user of computers(MacBook), email, and the IT platforms and programs required in school settings.
