We are currently inviting applications for the position of Student Wellbeing Leader for the 2026-2028 Position of Leadership (POL) cycle.

 Some of the Key Responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Lead and support members of the Student Wellbeing Team (SWT), support staff as a whole and the College community.
  • Drive the development and implementation of strategic wellbeing initiatives, frameworks, and policies that promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive school culture.
  • Lead tiered wellbeing interventions, manages student case documentation, coordinates support plans, and establishes referral pathways to internal and external services.
  • Mentor and empower staff through professional learning, collaborative planning, and behaviour management support, building capacity across the College to implement consistent wellbeing practices aligned with frameworks such as ReLATE and the College Trademark.

 Key Selection Criteria

  • Demonstrated understanding of, interest in and commitment to, the Catholic philosophy and ethos of St Brigid’s College
  • Appropriate qualifications. Be willing to undertake further training and studies as required
  • Demonstrated commitment to on-going improvement in practice
  • Demonstrated ability to organise school programs and activities in a timely and effective manner
  • Demonstrated ability to bring a project to fruition
  • Ability to prioritise tasks
  • High quality communication skills
  • Ability to be flexible as situations arise
  • Ability to work as a dynamic team member.
