Classroom Teacher (incl Specialists & Co-ords)
This contract is fixed term for 2026. Applicants must hold a current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration (or be eligible for registration).

- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging learning experiences aligned with the Victorian Curriculum.
- Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student growth and wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and families to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
- Embrace and promote the Catholic ethos and values of our school.
Some of the Key Responsibilities of this role will include:
- To provide a commitment to Catholic Education and to the safety, wellbeing and protection of children and young people;
- To provide students with a rich and engaging educational experience;
- Ensure the delivery of curriculum that reaches and engages students with a diverse range of educational abilities and backgrounds;
- A collegial and collaborative approach to learning and teaching.

Sacred Heart School is part of St Mary's Parish in Colac in south-western Victoria. The community incorporates families from both Colac and surrounding rural areas. The school, opened in 1962, has worked consistently to provide the very best facilities for our staff and students.
The school has a current student population of over 400. Sacred Heart is committed to the enjoyment and adventure of learning.
