Classroom Teacher - St. Augustine's PS Maryborough
Maternity Leave position, Semester 2 2026
About the Role
This role will be a replacement teacher in Year 1 & Year 2 composite class.

Key Selection Criteria
- Understanding and Commitment to Catholic Identity and Mission
- Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration (or be eligible for registration);
- A current or be willing to obtain an Accreditation to teach Religious Education Certificate;
- Demonstrated high- level knowledge of Victorian Curriculum and the AITSL standards with best practice, evidence-based approaches to teaching and learning;
- Evidence of effective strategies for fostering a safe and positive classroom environment;
- Experience collaborating effectively with colleagues in planning, instruction, and assessment.

About Us
St Augustine's School is a Catholic faith community with Christ as its foundation and inspiration. Located in Maryborough within the Goldfields Shire, our school offers a quality education to children from Prep-Year 6. We have a rich history in the Central Goldfields area, with much of this being attributed to the Brigidine nuns who administered the school for many years. Today, our school is administered by laity, with the central mission being to teach the children the Gospel values of Jesus Christ. The staff, in partnership with the parent and parish community, ensures that each child is accepted and valued.
