About Us

Trinity College Colac is a Catholic co-educational secondary school with a proud heritage, a warm and connected community and a deep commitment to developing graduates who seek to make a difference by creating a better world.

At Trinity College Colac, we nurture, inspire and challenge our students so they develop into the best versions of themselves. We foster a sense of belonging, achievement and purpose, helping our young people to explore their potential and seek their excellence. A Trinity education aims to cultivate critical, creative and collaborative learners who develop skills, character and knowledge that provide the roadmap for their own path to a thriving future.

Our founders, Sister Catherine McAuley and Blessed Edmund Rice, inspire our students to live a life of generous service and faith. As a Catholic school that has a history dating back to 1888 when the Sisters of Mercy arrived in Colac and established St Joseph’s College, Gospel Values are at the heart of everything we do. Trinity students are challenged to carry the message of Jesus and the charism of our founders in their hearts and show courage, faith and excellence in all areas of their lives.

Set on a beautiful campus with modern facilities and supported by passionate staff with a strong commitment to the wellbeing of our community, Trinity College Colac has been the school of choice for generations of local families who make a difference in our town, in our nation and in our world.

We seek to employ innovative and imaginative educators and ancillary staff who strive for personal growth and excellence and thrive on empowering young people to lead meaningful lives. We are inspired by Christ to recognise the dignity of every person and promote inclusivity and embrace diversity.

The College offers a range of employment and career opportunities for teachers, administration professionals, grounds and maintenance experts, sporting instructors and experienced Arts practitioners. In this wonderful community, all staff are invited to be part of the College’s faith tradition and provided with opportunities to explore their spiritual and professional development.

With a long history of providing education to the Colac-Otway area, Trinity is committed to building positive and meaningful relationships between students, staff and families. Together we make a difference
