About the Role

This position will be at the Grade 5 level working in a collaborative team for the remainder of the 2026 school year, beginning Term 3, 2026. The position will continue for 2027.

Some of the Key Responsibilities of this role will include:

  • To provide a commitment to Catholic Education and to the safety, wellbeing and protection of children;
  • To provide students with a rich and engaging educational experience;
  • Ensure the delivery of curriculum that reaches and engages students with a diverse range of educational abilities and backgrounds;
  • A collegial and collaborative approach to learning and teaching.

Key Selection Criteria-

  • Understanding and Commitment to Catholic Identity and Mission.
  • Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration (or be eligible for registration).
  • A current or be willing to obtain an Accreditation to teach Religious Education Certificate.
  • Demonstrated high-level knowledge of Victorian Curriculum and the AITSL standards with best practice, evidence-based approaches to teaching and learning.
  • Evidence of effective strategies for fostering a safe and positive classroom environment.
  • Experience collaborating effectively with colleagues in planning, instruction, and assessment.
