St Patrick’s Primary School, Stawell is a small Catholic primary school serving the families of Stawell and the broader Grampians region. Originally established in 1851 by Fr Barrett in a calico tent during the Gold Rush era, our school has a rich history of faith, service, and community.
At St Patrick’s, we are an educational community formed in the spirit of the Sisters of St Joseph. We educate for service in faith, hope and love, celebrating our Catholic beliefs, values, practices and traditions. Inspired by the Josephite charism, we are guided by the values of faith in God, courage, love of neighbour, humility, justice, and a deep commitment to the poor and vulnerable. These values shape the way we educate, support, and inspire every learner in our care.
Our dedicated staff deliver a comprehensive and engaging curriculum that enables each student to reach their full potential. We are committed to nurturing the development of the whole person—academically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally—so that every child is supported to flourish and become a thoughtful, compassionate and courageous contributor to our world.
